Starting with a stop at Rizal Park, where Rizal Monument was built. Leisure walk at Casa Manila & Fort Santiago at Intramuros, the oldest district and historic core of Manila. Nicknamed the Walled City, the fortified Intramuros was the seat of government during the Spanish Colonial Period. Its name in Latin, intramuros, literally means "within the walls". This place showcases the thick and high brick walls that serves as defense mechanism of Spanish during World War II . Several bulwarks (Baluarte), Ravelins and redoubts (reductos) are also strategically located along its massive walls following the design of medieval fortifications.  Old churches, museum and modern restaurants can be found within its walls.
